  3. Hi Danielle,
Amanda again, I would love to be added to the facebook contest list. but I also have a question. I know each retailer will have a different length depending on their product (kindle, iTunes, kobo readers) but you said that this book was about the same length as the others in the royals series a bit ago. I downloaded from iTunes and it was 304 pages compared to anywhere from 343-353 for the rest of the royals series. That seems like a lot. Was there an error in my download? perhaps I have missed key points I don't even know?! or does that seem about right?
Thanks and thank you again for adding me to the facebook contest for non-facebookers!

  4. Hi Amanda,

I usually go by word count since different devices give different numbers for pages. Most of the Royals series was somewhere between 60-72k words for each book. The Royal Elite: Mattias fell in at 61.5k. I usually shoot for 60k as a baseline. :) Hope this helps!

    1. so since I bought them all on iTunes and my shortest other royals book was 343 pages, then this one should have been 343 at least as well.....I am so confused. my font size was all as purchased but maybe I should check. did anyone else out there buy the Mattias book on iTunes to read on an ipad mini? What was your page count? was there any (spoiler alert coming) text between Mattias resting at the posh hotel and her waking up blindfolded?
Thanks for everything Danielle and keep up the great work!

  12. I really, really think that these need to be made into a movie! As soon as I can afford more, I will finish the series. It would be nice if there was a discount for purchasing the whole set or something. Great books!

  13. Hello Danielle,
I just finished Heir Untamed, my first of your books. I enjoyed it, as it had some different twists to many of the romances I've read. I do have a couple of other comments, though, that aren't as positive, and I hope they won't offend you. They are meant only to encourage you in future writings. I'm a beta reader for another author and noticed quite a few typos that a good editor or beta reader should have noticed. You might want to take a look at that issue. The other thing I noticed was the name of the heroine, Chey, kept disrupting my concentration on the plot. Too many times, it came across as 'they' by the way it was set in a sentence. That's all. As I said, I liked the book, and will look forward to reading more of this series and others. You have an interesting take on how normal people deal with abnormal challenges that fascinates me! Good luck in the future with all your books.
