Here is the review that I posted for this book in booth Goodreads and Amazon. Thanks for writing this book and for this amazing series. I am in love with it.
ReplyDeleteThis story starts right after Prince Sander purposed to Chey at his castle. Chey is in the country of Latvala illegally. The King and Queen of Latvala has labeled Chey a terrorist and a threat against the monarchy. Prince Sander threatened to expose the King as unfit to rule Latvala due to his actions in executing the prince former marriage while the princess was pregnant with another man's child.
Before Sander could execute the plan the King declared that Prince Sander would not be the heir to the throne and would be exiled out of the country immediately. The king also has plans to rid himself of Chey once and for all. Chey is force to run for her life before she is captured.
While on the run Chey meets a stranger who has answers to questions that could expose a scandalous secret that could ruin the King and Queen. But would this secret also hurt Sander's chance from becoming King?
Just when I think the overall plot of this series could not become more juicy I am proven wrong and am wowed by the imaginative and original writing style of Ms. Danielle Bourdon. This story has 2 unexpected twist that you won't see coming and what is so good about it is the reality that these situations could have really existed in other monarchies. The ending is sweet beyond measure but it leaves the burning question is ....Could there be another book in this series? The author definitely left the question up in the air.
What a fantastic review, thank you so much for leaving it! I'm entirely happy to know you enjoyed the third book. It makes all the difference as a writer when readers are engaged with the story.
